Death Notice
Cole -- James Columbus Cole was born near San Antonio, Tex, April 26, 1851, and died in Eureka, Calif., Nov 11, 1934. He accecpted the truth and became a charter member of the first Seventh-day Advendist church organized in Texas. He never lost his love for the truth or his interest in the cause. In 1877 he married Mary E. Milliken. Nine children were born to them, four of whom preceded him in death. His wife, five children, seven grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren, and one brother survive. We are confident he rests with Jesus. -- S.O.
