Notes
The 1910 census for the Whitney family is misleading. Olivia is indexed as the third child of Andrew Jackson Whitney and Artie Belle (Shook) Whitney as a female born in Texas. That is incorrect. Oliver Namon Whitney, born on 22-AUG-1907 in Texas, was the third child of Andrew and Artie. Their fourth child, Elvera Elizabeth Whitney, was born on 19-NOV-1910 in Louisiana (not Texas) several months after the 1910 census (enumerated on 23-MAR-1910). Hence, at the time of the enumeration, Andrew and Artie had three boys and no girls yet. The 1920 census is just as misleading. Elvera is indexed as "Elvia" and that can easily be interpreted as Olvia (and then extrapolated as Olivia to match the 1910 census).
