FORT WORTH - Artie E. Shook, 86, a retired Sears salesperson, died Thursday, Jan. 14, 1999, at a Fort Worth hospital. Funeral: 10 a.m. Saturday at Ridglea West Baptist Church, 3954 Southwest Blvd., Fort Worth. Burial: Holly Hills Memorial Park in Granbury. Artie Shook was born Nov. 2, 1912, in Hood County. She had lived in Fort Worth the past 46 years. She was a former resident of Hood and Somervell Counties. After retiring, she loved working in ceramics. Survivors: Husband, Clyde Shook; daughter, Wilma Dickens; sister, Anna Mae Wilson; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-graandchildren.
