There are two distinct Smith families in my research.

Robert Newton Smith was the husband of Cornellia Oleain (Pate) Smith. They are both buried in the Pate Cemetery (Pate-Sanders Cemetery). Hence, Robert is associated with my research on the Pate family.

Artie Ester (Smith) Shook was married to Clyde Lois Shook.. Hence, Artie is associated with my research on the Shook family.
