I have not been able to find any birth or death records for Lester Dalton Shook. His headstone records him as the son of T.L. and M.I. Shook. I have not been to the cemetery, so I cannot position the headstone from what is on findagrave.com. However, the evidence points to Thannie Lester Shook and Mattie Irene "Rena" (Whitaker) Shook as his parents. Sybilene Shook does not have a similar inscription point to Thannie and Mattie, but her headstone is identical to Lester Dalton Shook's headstone (same color / style).
