LAWRENCE SHOOK
Funeral services for Lawrence Jesse Shook, 80, of Iowa Park was held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 19 at Dutton Funeral Home.
Dr. Darrell Monday, paster of First Baptist Church, officiated. Burial was at Iowa Park Highland Cemetery.
Mr. Shook died Jan. 17, 1996, at a Wichita Falls Hospital.
He was born May 26, 1915, at Stamford. He retired in 1989 after 13 years as a tube operator for Ciba Geigy. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Iowa Park. He an Oddy Hill were married Feb. 28,1 1944, at Henrietta. He had lived in Iowa Park since 1939.
Survivors include his wife; a daughter, Bertha Cole of Houston; a son, Willie Fred Hastings of Iowa Park; two brothers, E. J. Shook of Iowa Park and Ray Shook of Irving; five sisters, Gladys Cooper of Seymour, Louise Helms of Iowa Park, Carolyn Spivey of Tyler, Donna Wyatt of Wichita Falls; four grandchildren, and four great- grandchildren.
