David Alvin Rhodes, his wife, Bertie Allen (Turner) Rhodes, and his father, William Orlando Rhodes, are all buried in the Pate Cemetery (Pate-Sanders Cemetery). Nina Grace (Toon) Rhodes, wife of Walter O. Rhodes, are also buried in the Pate Cemetery.

William Orlando Rhodes was the husband of Maudie Gertrude (Bolt) Rhodes. Maudie was the sister of Walter Joseph Bolt. Walter was the husband of Frances (Pate) Bolt.
