Miss Bobbie King entertained Tuesday evening at her home, 3600 Holwell Boulevard., with a miscellaneous shower in honor of Miss Eula Patin., whose marriage to Harris Hickey will take place the later part of December. Flowers were used to adorn the house. Social conversation afforded all version and refreshments were serverd.

Eula Patin Hickey

BEAUMONT- Mrs. Eula Patin Hickey, 94, of Beaumont passed away on Sunday, December 24, 2006 at her home. She was born in Lafayette, Louisiana on February 6, 1912 to the late Sidney and Lelia Patin. She moved to Port Arthur, Texas as a young child where she lived most of her life before moving to Beaumont, Texas in 1982. She is survived by her daughter, Ella Fay McGill of Beaumont: her son, Jackie Gene Hickey and wife Jane of Port Neches: four grandchildren, Jeff Albers of Silsbee, TX, Jamie Albers of China, TX, Randy Hickey of Houston, TX, Betsy Rich of Fannett, TX, and eight great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Harris Hickey, two brothers, four sisters, and two grandsons. A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 27, 2006 from 5 until 8 pm at Grammier-Oberle Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 28, 2006 at 10 am at Greenlawn Memorial Park in Groves, Texas, with Deacon Dallas Broussard officiating. In Lieu of Flowers, memorials can be made to Nutrition and Services for Seniors, Beaumont, TX.
