Given Name
All five census records and his headstone all have Young's given name as Young O. or just Young. His death certificate, however, records his given name as Young Osgood. His wife was the informant on the death certificate. So it's a pretty good assumption that his full given name was Young Osgood. (This is not as straighforward as it seems. Young's son is listed in census records as Young O. Jr. and Y. Otto - with Otto as his givin name on his death certificate. After consideration, I have decided that Otto was probably a nickname. Hence, Osgood was the middle name for both father and son.)
