Obituary (Ruth)

Ruth Woody Shook, 93, a resident of St. Francisville, LA, died on Monday, May 20, 2013 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. Visitation will be on Friday, May 24,2013 at Charlet Funeral Home, Inc. in Zachary, LA from 12 noon until 2pm services, conducted by Rev. David McCormick and assisted by Pastor Mike Clark. Burial will be at Star Hill Cemetery. She is survived by two daughters: Eloise Cutrer and her husband Ivy Cutrer of St. Francisville; Willa Rhea Miceli and her husband Dr. J. Thomas Miceli of Baton Rouge; one son, Jim Shook and his wife Nelda Shook of West Monroe, LA; seven grandchildren: David Shook, Stephen Shook, Michelle Cutrer Vannoy, Jack Cutrer, John Cutrer, David Miceli, and Lisa Miceli Johnson; sixteen great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband James Clyde Shook. Pallbearers will be David Shook, Stephen Shook, Jack Cutrer, John Cutrer, Christopher Shook, and Kenny Dykes. She was a member of the Landmark Missionary Baptist Church of West Monroe, LA.
