Mr. Fulmer was a member in good standing with the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Raymond C. Paul Post No. 880 of Galveston, Texas and also a member with the Tucker Lodge #297 since 1949.
Mr. Fulmer is preceded in death by his wife, Dora "Maude" Fulmer and also his parents, Ella C. and Clayton A. Fulmer. He leaves behind his family of island friends, those at the VFW Post 880 and also Tucker Lodge.
Notes
Cary spelled and signed his given name as Cary rather than Carey (as seen in most indexes). The 1920 census is a disaster for this family. Cary is recorded as Charles (and this threw me off track for years, until Herbert Michael Shook's wife, Karen, reached out to me). Moreover, Maude and Molly are reversed. Maude is the wife and Molly is the daughter.
