In her will. written on 16-MAR-1780 and probabated 31-MAR-1780, Dorothea disinherited her oldest son, Peter, and a second son, Jacob, because they moved to North Carolina against her wishes. She left five pounds to each of their eldest children. The remainder of her estate she divided equally between her other four children: George, Daniel, Abraham, and Mary.
