Benagy is in Bible records as the son of Willoughby Pate.
Benagy Pate owned land near Faceville, Georgia. (Either the 1850 or 1860 census shows the correct "Ben" Pate family.) A PARKER researcher said that Benagy is in South Carolina records late in life living in the home of a sister. Daughter, Miranda, was with him.
Benagy Pate was living near Bainbridge, Georgia on the 1870 Census.
