WHITNEY -- On Monday, January 24, 1966, at 4 o'clock p.m., EARL WHITNEY, husband of the late Lucy Swan; father of Alfred B. Whitney and Mrs. Lena Brupbacher; brother of Lena Whitney and the late Mrs. James McMahan, Nita, and Andrew Whitney, also survived by 7 grandchildren, age 77 years, a native of New Iberi., La., and a resident of Povdros, La., for the past 20 years. Relative and friends of the family, also employes of Louisiana Department of State and County Municipal Employes AF of L-CIO Local 1712, are invited to attend the funeral. Services from the funeral home of Jacob Schoen & Son, Inc., 327 Elysian Fields ave. (parking 2223 Chartres st.) on Wednesday, January 26, 1966, at 11 o'clock a.m., with Requlem Mass at St. Peter and Paul Church. Interment McDonoughville cemetery. Friends may call after 7 p.m. Tuesday.
