SHOOK, KEN

A senior technical associate with Shell Chemical in Geismar, with 12 years of service, and a resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 1:15 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 22, 2000, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 47 and a native of San Antonio. Visiting was held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Monday. Visiting at the funeral home chapel from 10 a.m. until religious services at noon Tuesday, conducted by the Rev. Phil Yoho. Burial in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by his wife, Becky Dollahite Shook, Baton Rouge; a daughter, Jenny Shook, Baton Rouge; mother and stepfather, Peggy and Luke Bordelon, Charleston, Miss.; father and stepmother, Percy and Carolyn Shook, Gonzales; a sister, Vicki Wood, Charleston; grandmother, Clarice Roberson, Charleston; and a nephew, Mike Wood, Charleston. He attended First United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital Memorial Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-9956.
